What We Do

Neshima is the Israel program of Artists and Musicians for Israel (A.M.I.), an educational organization that began as the inspiration of Yehudah Katz, a seasoned Jewish educator and the driving force behind various creative and innovative Jewish music projects around the world.

A.M.I. uses creative musical and artistic educational workshops to strengthen Jewish identity and promote unity among Israeli youth.  These workshops operate according to the following principles:

  1. Our staff creates an atmosphere that allows the students to look inside themselves, connecting to a deeper level of their spirituality that they never explored before.
  2. We create a comfortable atmosphere that enables students to express themselves without a concern of being judged.
  3. Our workshops encourage student participation, self-expression and creativity.

We also offer teacher training programs, to enable educators to further our goals in their classrooms.  Click here to learn more.
